  When I was searching for an attorney to represent me in my divorce, I consulted with numerous law firms and a few judges. There was one name that was consistently recommended as being the best family practice attorney: Marilyn Moody Brown. I'm so grateful that I had her by my side as the opposing side retained attorney after attorney to represent them. Marilyn tried to work with them, but when things turned to a fight - she beat them soundly. As one judge put it, "She's a Rock Star in the Legal World". Besides representing me well, Marilyn was a master at negotiations which kept costs at a minimum. Her effectiveness and honesty is what impressed me most about Marilyn. When motions were filed against us, she had a response filed with the court almost by return mail. When we seemed at a dead end on some issues, Marilyn was able to negotiate a settlement. Marilyn's professionalism is reflected by her entire staff. They were very kind, informative, and prompt - from the secretary up front to the law clerk in the back. It almost makes me want to get another divorce. I HIGHLY recommend Marilyn Moody Brown to ANYONE.

  Oh my goodness where to start!! GRANT DICKINSON is the best!! He has been our lawyer since 2014. He has helped us get temporarily permanent custody of my step son and we are going for sole custody! It has been a long road! Grant was always honest with us instead leading us down a road that would cost us money and wouldn't achieve anything. His patience and expertise is why we have been able to remove an innocent child from a bad situation! I don't have patience and would say I'm a needy client lol so I would call on whim and Grant would take my call even if I didn't have an appointment. One night I emailed him at 9 pm because there had been an incident and he replied right away and gave us instruction on what to do that night. Then we called first thing in the morning a little after 8 and where put right through to Grant! He again gave us instructions on what do to and we had my step in our care later that day. The staff was always friendly and helpful when I called or if I needed information! I would give Grant 10 stars if I could.

  It's been years since Marilyn helped me, but I am grateful daily for her help. I continue to refer people to her because I trust she is the best in the county.

  I never believed in divorce, just tried and tried to do the best I could under awful situations. At one point felt running away would save my life but still no divorce till I realized it would never be safe to go back and he had full legal power over everything, having made me sign everything away. I had a wonderful therapist that helped me realize that sometimes divorce is the right choice. I prayed about it before deciding. I began to ask around, also terrified of being taken advantage of by lawyers. Over and over again, Marylin Moody Brown was recommended. I talked to her and right away she told me how to reverse all the documents signing away my income, home worth and medical choices. I was so amazed and felt like she was taking me by the hand. She did teach and help me infinitely. My ex said he couldn't find anyone who wanted to oppose her because they knew they would lose. My fear was greatly reduced hearing this. I was so clueless and she was so kind to me and fought for me. I feel safe now and so grateful. So very thankful that I was led to someone so helpful and kind. I will also mention that if I ever called or stopped by with a question, I was never put on hold. There was help right then. Thank you to the whole office for mending a broken down woman. I have always been an emergency room nurse and loved helping people. I truly believe they all love helping people.
