  I went in on a Friday morning and checked in at 9:11. I was walking out the door at 9:21. They had great, fast service. Super friendly. I was super nervous about going into a government office on a Friday, but I was pleasantly surprised! :)

  I'm not normally one to leave a review, and I'm typically a forgiving and positive person, but my experience with this office has been just horrible. In leaving a review I hope that they'll improve their public relations a little bit. I applied for my adopted daughter's social one year ago (still don't have it). I've been back to the office repeatedly to inquire why it's taking so long to receive and each time I have been met with complete incompetence and rude, unhelpful behavior. I'm sure these people go through confrontation all the time, and I can understand that they may feel defensive dealing with issues day in and day out, but is that answer to why my daughter still doesn't have a social security number really, "we don't know and there's nothing we can do to help you?!" Really?! I had to press the woman at the window for information to figure out that we needed to call vital records in Washington state to try and progress on this issue. Her responses to my concerns were mechanical and completely uninformed. Maybe she was new?! The representatives at the windows need more training regarding problem solving, office procedure and public relations. Smiling occasionally would also be helpful. Here's the thing--you have to go into the office and sit in line (I had to with a rambunctious two year old) for a LONG time. No one can help you over the phone and after THREE visits I've had absolutely NO help with our current problem. There has got to be a better way.
